Protecting Your Home and Property in Winter

If you own a building that is without natural gas service, you need to take action now to prevent cold weather damage. Call your natural gas retailer today to have natural gas service restored to any investment properties.

It is important that you check your properties throughout the heating season to ensure your natural gas appliances are on and operating. Sometimes buildings or properties may become vacant without your knowledge. Energy retailers will discontinue gas service when a property becomes vacant and no application for service has been made.

If you choose not to make arrangements for natural gas service, please take all appropriate action to prevent damage to your investment property and the property of others. If you are a landlord, refer to your insurance policies to confirm coverage levels for your properties, should they become vacant.
