Rate Filings

This section is of special interest to intervenors and others interested in the details of ATCO Gas monthly rate filings with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC). In a process approved by the AUC, these rates will automatically be in effect on the first of the month.
 

Cost of Energy (or Gas Cost Recovery Rate) Filings

Direct Energy Regulated Services is responsible for supplying the regulated rate natural gas you use. For more information on regulated rate natural gas available to customers in the ATCO Gas service territory, contact Direct Energy Regulated Services at www.DirectEnergyRegulatedServices.com or call 1-866-420-3174.

You do not have to choose the regulated option, you are free to choose a contract (unregulated) rate other retailers. A list of licensed natural gas retailers in Alberta is available at www.ucahelps.gov.ab.ca.

ATCO Gas South Production and Storage Riders

ATCO Gas South received approval in Commission Order U2008-213 to suspend the Production and Storage Riders from the rate schedules of ATCO Gas effective July 1, 2008. Consistent with this Commission Order, effective July 1, 2008, ATCO Gas will not file monthly Rider applications with the Commission until such time as the Commission provides further direction in this matter.
